Findhelp Information Services ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the 211 mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not collect or store any personal information about you. However, we may collect and store non-personal information about the mobile device on which the App is installed and the functioning of the App itself (“Systems Data”). This information may include:

·      Device model

·      Device operating system version

·      Unique device identifier

·      Device language and locale settings

·      Errors or crash information generated and reported by the App.

The App collects the following non-personal information you enter when you use the App’s search functions (“Search Data”):

·      The search terms entered

·      The central point indicated on the map visible in the app when the search term is entered.

Of the Search Data, the App stores entered search terms on your device. These can be cleared by you at any time.

When you save search result, that result is stored on your device. What you have saved on your device can be cleared at any time.

We do not associate any of the information collected or stored with any individual user and do not attempt to identify you through this data.

2. How We Use Information

Systems Data is used solely for the purpose of delivering notifications and enhancing your experience while using the App.

Search Data is transmitted to the search system at https://cords.ai. No personally identifying information, information about your location (unless it happens to coincide with the centre of the map displayed on the screen at the time of a search), or information about your device, is sent.

If you report a problem with the app, you will be prompted to enter your name and email address which is transmitted to us and stored on our servers for the purpose of reviewing your report and communicating with you about that report.

3. Disclosure of Information

We do not share, sell, or otherwise disclose the information we collect, store or transmit, except as set out herein, or as required by law or to protect our rights and interests.

4. Data Retention

We retain the information collected for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as well as for our legitimate business purposes. We will securely delete this information once it is no longer needed.

5. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect the information collected from your mobile device. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

6. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website or within the App. You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
